Volunteer

Dear Friend,

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA).  We are always looking for people to join our team of dedicated volunteers … people who will help us give hope and make miracles for families.

Since 1986, COTA has helped raise millions of dollars for transplant-related expenses.  COTA is a 501(c)3 organization; therefore, all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.  What is truly unique about COTA is that 100% of all funds raised in honor of patients are used for transplant-related expenses.  COTA does not charge a fee or take a percentage of the funds raised.

If you could help make a miracle, would you?

COTA has worked with more than 100,000 volunteers nationwide to organize fundraising activities and organ/tissue donor awareness events.  I hope you will get involved with COTA in one of the following ways:

Make a donation.  Volunteer to help a child in your community. Talk about the critical shortage of organ and tissue donors with your family and colleagues.  Register to be an organ and tissue donor.  Please help us give hope and make miracles for a child who desperately needs a second chance at life.

Sincerely,

Making Miracles:

“So much of what we have been through with Bryce is a miracle … miracles seemed to be happening all around us throughout the transplant process. Bryce’s grandma had a mass in her lung that would likely not have been caught early enough except for the fact she was tested to possibly be an organ donor for Bryce. Bryce is with us today, and so is his grandma. Two miracles.”
